I came to TalenTrust after running my own franchise staffing firm, Nectir, which had a traditional staffing model. I was responsible for all aspects of growing and operating my business and recruiting across many levels of positions and industries. It was trial by fire and I loved it—until I discovered TalenTrust and an entirely new model for recruitment. I also often felt I was “a silo” with my own business, and with TalenTrust I and joined an effective and innovative team.
Working at TalenTrust, I still feel like an entrepreneur and am also inspired by working with a high performing team. It’s the best of both worlds. I have an opportunity to make an impact on the lives of so many people on a very personal level. I work as a partner with clients to help drive behavior and culture change that promotes and nurtures their growth. (And they sleep better because they know we’ll find talented people for them with the right fit!)
The new opportunities we find for candidates can be life changing for them and their families. And finding new challenges and opportunities for my own strategic recruiting team is as rewarding as working with both clients and candidates. My work feels both powerful and meaningful.
I earned my BS in psychology while minoring in Spanish. Prior to launching Nectir, I spent nearly 10 years with ICAT Managers, where I held a series of progressive leadership positions.
When I’m not working and living up to my reputation as the team member with the weirdest and funniest stories, I enjoy playing at anything in the mountains, especially when my husband and two young daughters are along.
