In survey after survey, executives list attracting and retaining top talent as their #1 issue. According to the Vistage Small Business CEO survey, more than half of CEOs reported unfilled positions, 46 percent had trouble finding qualified people, and 24 percent had trouble finding candidates with a good cultural fit for their company.
High-growth companies need people whose passion matches that of the company. It is not likely that everyone in the company will be a perfect match, but if your core team is not a match, you will never succeed.
