April Jobs Report
On Friday May 3rd, the U.S. Labor Department released their April Employment Report, missing expectations across several categories. However, these disappointments do not necessarily indicate a continued downward trend. The labor market remains strong, even though it is less strong relative to March's report.
March Jobs Report
On Friday April 5th, the U.S. Labor Department released their March Employment Report, beating expectations with 303,000 payrolls added, compared to the 214,000 projected. This report is stronger than previous February report and continue to indicate a labor market that favors job seekers.
February Jobs Report
On Friday March 8th, the U.S. Labor Department released their February Employment Report. beats expectations with 275k payrolls added, compared to the 200k projected. However, it is a weaker report than previous months. Despite this, the labor market remains historically high.
January Jobs Report
On Friday February 2nd, the U.S. Labor Department released their January Employment Report. This month crushes expectations in job creation, with 353,000 new payrolls created. With unemployment remaining steady at 3.7% and open jobs continuing to exceed available workers by nearly 3 million, recruitment and retention remain top of mind for business owners.
