After nearly 18 years in business, I am very proud of our team and the growth we’ve helped our many clients achieve. And we’ve grown right along with them. From our inception, we have been committed to living our values, serving as a model for strong growth and exceptionalism, and implementing innovative ideas in recruiting and culture—before advising our clients to act on them! Maybe the most important thing I’ve learned in leading this company is that love belongs in the workplace. That core belief is reflected in everything we do, and we spread the wisdom everywhere.
This is how we got here:
After nearly two decades in the staffing industry, I determined that traditional models don’t always serve the best interests of clients—especially rapidly growing companies. At that moment, I vowed to disrupt the stagnant staffing/recruiting industry that I’d chosen for my career.
In 2003, I launched TalenTrust to act as a strategic partner in helping companies find and keep great people. Our expert team collaborates closely with executives to identify the root causes—and often interrelated issues—behind our clients’ human capital challenges. As a result of our work, they achieve a more positive culture and attract employees who are aligned with leadership’s vision.
I am passionate about connecting business leaders with the right people and ideas to drive their growth. Our success is based on a core belief that people and relationships are critical to achieving business goals. As a business leader myself, I found some of the connections I was looking for at Vistage International, where I have been a member for 10+ years and sponsor for 5+ years.
TalenTrust serves clients across the U.S. and employs a team of 20+ people who very successfully work remotely. In 2015 and 2016, our firm was named to the prestigious Inc. 5000 list for high-growth companies. Our people understand the challenges of leading organizations through rapid growth, and we’re pleased to serve many on the Inc. 5000 list.
My first book, Solve the People Puzzle; How High-Growth Companies Attract and Retain Top Talent, was published in 2016. I am a keynote speaker and am often requested to speak to business leaders across the U.S. about trends in talent and culture.
My story actually begins and ends with my family. My father, John Quinn, who immigrated here from Ireland with an 8th-grade education and $20 in his pocket, inspired me to “shoot for the moon.” His strength, commitment, and courage are the foundation for TalenTrust. The talents and support of my husband, Andy, and the patience and understanding of my son, John, have helped me build on that foundation to help hundreds of companies find and keep the top talent they need to succeed.
